All of the Blackbuck Antelope at the ranch are of trophy quality and their horn sizes range between 18-19 inches straightline, some are as large as 29 inches around the curl. There are no hunting season restrictions on hunting the Blackbuck Antelope in Texas, which makes it a suitable hunting trophy throughout the year.

Texas Iranian Red Sheep Hunting

The Iranian Red Sheep is also Known also as a Urial, Arkar, or Shapo Sheep.  Of all wild sheep the reds are considered to be one of the most beautiful animals with their reddish-brown coats and a distinctive white and black saddle patch and a white underbelly. The Rams have a black ruff coat that extends from under its neck down its chest.

Iranian Sheep eat grass, brush and leaves, and can weigh as much as 200 pounds. They have an average height of 3 feet measured at the shoulder.

Red Sheep hunting at Hoffman Ranch offers guests a maginificent trophy year round. The heavy horns of the Iranian Red Sheep curve outward from the top of the head and continue down behind the head and back around to the sides of the head which forms a curve similar to the letter "c". The females also have horns but are usually shorter and more compressed.

Texas Aoudad Sheep Hunting

The Aoudad sheep are a tawny gold to red color and have very shaggy throat hair. The rams hair extends all the way down their chest and feet. The Audad is a very big exotic animal, that can weigh from 90 pounds to 310 pounds and stand from 2.5 to 3.5 feet at the shoulder. The Audad's lifespan is around 22 years in the wild. Both the males and females have ringed horns that average 20 inches. Their horns curve out, then backward and then in.
